Health First's Holmes Regional Medical Center Welcomes Baby New Year!

Baby Isabella Born at 3:23am New Years Day!

MELBOURNE, FL - Health First's Holmes Regional Medical Center welcomed its first baby of the new year today.

Beautiful baby Isabella Crews was born at 3:23am at Holmes Regional Medical Center. Isabella weighed in at 6 pounds, 12 ounces. Isabella's mom, Allison Crews and dad Jon Crews are so excited about their new arrival.

Isabella is the second baby for the Viera, Florida family. The couple has a 10 month old daughter Sara Crews.

Neither Allison nor Jon planned on having Isabella shortly after the stroke of midnight. Allison went into labor about 7pm New Year's Eve, and arrived at Holmes Regional Medical Center shortly after midnight.

The Birth Suites, Holmes Regional Medical Center's mother/baby wing, features 23 private, exquisitely appointed post-partum rooms, many with magnificent views of the Indian River. They feature seven special care rooms, eight birthing rooms, two C-section rooms and 14 nursery beds.

All of these features are complemented by our Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), giving new parents peace of mind knowing additional services are available right here at a moment's notice should the need arise.

Happy New Year from Health First Media Relations!
