Palm Bay Hospital , a not-for-profit hospital, serves the largest and one of the fastest-growing areas of Brevard county. June 2009 marked the opening of our $83.5 million expansion construction project, built to better serve the surrounding community.

- Two new Special Procedures Rooms for expanded inpatient and outpatient Gastrointestinal procedures and services
State-of-the-Art Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- A new 12-bed Intensive Care Unit
- Our new state-of-the-art, Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is equipped with the latest technology and VitalWatch, Central Florida's ONLY eICU program. From a core remote location, critical care physicians and nurses monitor and provide an added layer of patient care 24/7, via a secured two-way audio/visual system. This life-saving service is free of charge to patients and available only at Health First hospitals.
- Featuring an all-new ceiling “boom” system will allow medical equipment to be moved from side-to-side to better accommodate patients and caregivers alike.
Full-service Cafeteria

Palm Bay Hospital's new Cafeteria is now 13,724 sq. ft. and provides a restful and relaxing atmosphere.

Food service includes a hot entrée bar, deli, soup & salad bar, coffee station, grab-n-go, and a by-the-slice pizza station. The new Cafeteria also features a brick-hearth pizza oven. For those who enjoy outdoor dining, a City Café sponsored by the City of Palm Bay, provides a pleasurable, relaxing outdoor experience, just outside the new Cafeteria.
